Abstract
Objectives: Recently, mobile healthcare, including smartphone applications (hereinafter referred to as apps), has been introduced in the healthcare field. However, most of the applications were commercial applications designed to promote dentistry, and no research has been reported in Korea to identify behavioral changes in educators after application training. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of oral health education on oral health knowledge, behavior, and eating habits

Methods: In this study, the participant installed the ¡°Procare¡± application (M product) and used its features for maintaining oral hygiene. The app recorded the daily brushing habits to calculate the brushing score.

Results: There was a positive effect on the change of oral health knowledge, behavior, and eating habits before and after education in subjects who were educated by application-based selforal- healthcare programs.

Conclusions: An application-based self-oral-healthcare program can be a good means of oral health education.
